Not yet. OpenAI dots is not on ChatGPT Plus, Go or Free. OpenAI says it plans to expand dots to more users soon, but hasn't said which plans come next or given a date. We update this page the day OpenAI announces a change, and you can leave your email to be told first.

What OpenAI has actually said

In the launch post OpenAI says it is "beginning to roll out dots across Pro, Business Premium, and Enterprise plans in eligible markets" and that it plans "to expand dots to more users soon." That is all. It gave no date and did not name a plan.

What is not known

  • Which plans come next (Plus, Go, Free or others).
  • Whether the first expansion is by plan or by country.
  • What limits a lower plan would get.

No. OpenAI's only public statement is that it plans to expand dots to more users soon.
Will free users get dots?
OpenAI hasn't said. 'More users' could mean Plus, Go, Free, more countries, or all of them.
Why is dots only on expensive plans?
OpenAI hasn't explained. Each dot has its own cloud computer, and the plan includes an allowance for deeper work, which may be part of the reason. That's our guess, not OpenAI's statement.
Can I pay to get dots on a lower plan?
No. You'd need to be on Pro or Business Premium. Extra dots, faster dots and bigger allowances are planned as add-ons, but not for lower plans.
